General Information

Park Rules

1.     Alcohol -Alcohol is limited to sites/accommodation, guests are not permitted to walk around the park with alcohol

No under age (under 18yrs) drinking permitted in park

No excessive consumption of alcohol permitted in park

2.     Amenities -Please leave showers and toilets clean and tidy for others and limit showers to 3 mins

Children under the age of ten (10) years must not be in an Amenity Building unless accompanied by an adult.

Playing in and around an Amenity Buildings is not permitted

Please report any unhygienic acts or misbehaviours to the Management for immediate attention

Smoking or the consuming of alcohol in and around Amenity Buildings is not permitted

Washing of clothes and utensils in shower/toilet areas is not permitted

Please do not enter amenities if covered in sand or mud, please wash sand off prior to entering

Washing of any beach items eg: boards, wetsuits in amenities is not permitted

3.     Antisocial Behaviour -Guests must not undertake, participate or be involved in any antisocial behaviour

4.     Archery – Crossbows, Longbows, bows and arrows of any kind are not permitted in any area of the park.

5.     Babies Bath – A babies bath is located in the Bottlebrush ladies amenities

6.     BBQ Areas - Please leave clean & tidy after use

7.     Beach showers -Beach showers are located on the ski beach.

8.     Bikes/Scooters -Riders (all ages) of bikes & scooters must wear helmets, as required by law, and abide by the park speed limits.  Riding of bikes/Scooters after street lights and exterior Amenity Buildings lights come on, is not permitted.  Management and staff may confiscate any bike, scooter or any recreational equipment used by the guest's family, or visitors, if in the opinion of the Management or Staff:

·         The equipment is being used in a manner that is dangerous for the user or other park users or both.

·         The use is not in accordance with the park rules

·         The use is such as to cause a nuisance

The Management or staff will return to a responsible adult any equipment that has been confiscated under this rule within 36 hours of the equipment was confiscated.  Confiscation under this rule does not limit the park owner's other rights under the occupation agreement

9.     Boom gate -All vehicles through the boom gate must have authorisation from the office. Any vehicles wanting access when the office is closed must buy a Day Visitor ticket from the coin machine. or leave the vehicle off the park property and walk to site.  Swipe card holders (Long-Term Guests) are not permitted to allow any other person to use their card to access the park through the boom gate.  Boom gate swipe cards are only to be used by the Guest it was issued to Tailgating is strictly prohibited -Offenders will face immediate eviction

10.   Children -Parents are responsible for their children's behaviour. Proper parental supervision is required at all times so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.

·         Supervision is required in and around BBQ enclosures, Amenity Buildings, Playground and Boat Ramps.

·         Running, riding bikes & scooters is not permitted around BBQ enclosures, Amenities, and Playground, and in between sites and accommodation

·         Children are not permitted to play with or around boom gates

11.   Clotheslines -Park erected clotheslines are situated at Middle & Top Amenities

Temporary clotheslines around accommodation and sites are not permitted

12.   Contractors – It is the responsibility of the site holder to ensure that all contractors working at your site are qualified, licenced and hold the relevant Work Cover required certification to carry out the task for which they have been contracted.

13.   Courteous and Considerate Manners -Guests should act in a courteous and considerate manner towards the Management and employees, or contractors and other guests of the park

14.   Criminal Activity -Occupants must not offend against the law at the park or use the dwelling unit for the furtherance of any criminal activity.

15.   Day Visitors -All visitors, day or over-night guests, must report to office and pay appropriate fees and Day Visitors must vacate the park by 10.00pm

16.   Dishwashing - Dishwashing facilities are provided at the Bottlebrush Amenities and Top Amenities.  Dishwashing is not permitted in the Park Laundries.

17.   Fees -Tourist Site & Accommodation fees are payable on arrival.

Yearly Van Site fees are to be paid quarterly in advance between 9am and 5pm-7 days a week.

All over-night guests must register at office and the appropriate fees paid :

Maximum number of persons allowed in any one accommodation type is limited by the beds available.

Maximum 6 persons on Tourist Sites

Day Visitors must register at office and pay the appropriate fees.  Evasion of these charges will result in immediate eviction

18.   Firearms -Guests must not carry any firearm or any other weapon at the park

19.   Fires -No open fires are permitted within the park from November 1st to April 31st, gas or electric BBQs only. Fires must be supervised by a responsible adult and fully extinguished upon departure. Fires are not permitted around any accommodation.

20.   Fire Hose Reels – Fire hose reels are for emergency use only. Washing of vehicles, caravans, cabins etc. is not permitted.

21.   Fish Cleaning -No fish cleaning is allowed at Amenity buildings

22.   Garbage -Garbage (domestic only) is to be wrapped or put in a plastic bag and placed in the skip bins located throughout the park.  Recycling bins for glass and cans are situated at the Bottlebrush & Middle amenities.

Guests must comply with any instruction given by the management for the disposal of garbage, including any instruction regarding separation and packaging of garbage to enable optimum environmental outcomes

No carpets, flooring, furniture, mattresses, white goods or large objects to be placed in garbage skips - lt is your responsibility remove these items from the park

Those who attempt to dispose of illegal goods will result in an order to vacate the site

23.   Gas Bottles -Gas Bottles to be current in date re: Compliance test date stamp

24.   Keys -Key deposits must be paid on arrival and forfeiture of deposit will occur if key is not returned, lost or damaged

25.   Laundry -Washing of dishes and utensils is not permitted in laundry

Children are to be supervised when in laundry.

Dryer use for anything other than freshly laundered items is not permitted.

26.   Noise -No undue noise or entertainment at any time that may disturb the peace and quiet of others is permitted at any time.

No undue noise (noise that is audible from adjacent sites) after 10.00pm. No noise limit is strictly 12.00pm to 8.00am

27.   OHS -Guests must comply with any directions of the Management in relation to compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation 2001

Guests must ensure that no tradesperson enters the park until that person has provided license, public liability and workers compensation insurance details to the Management, and until the park owner is satisfied that the person is familiar with any relevant OHS requirements applicable to the park

28.   Pets – Dogs are permitted in the park but must be kept on a leash at all times.  Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animal.  Pets are not permitted in any accommodation or park building.

29.   Parking -Guests must not park any vehicle so that it endangers or is likely to endanger another person or property of any other person.  Guests must not allow any vehicle, boat or trailer to be parked on any road in the park.  Guests' vehicle(s), boat or trailer must be parked within the boundaries of the site.  No visitor parking is available at the Reception. Visitor's cars that cannot be accommodated within the park must be removed from the park.  Only one (1) vehicle permitted on all sites and accommodation.  Some accommodation and sites may accommodate two (2) vehicles within the site boundaries.  Additional cars may be permitted at management's discretion.

30.   Playground -Children must be supervised whilst on and around playground -Children over the age of twelve (12) years not permitted

31.   Primitive Camping – In primitive camping areas where facilities are not provided or readily accessible persons must bury all faeces not less than 100 metres from any river, stream, dam or watercourse. Must dispose of any soap, detergent or similar substance not less than 50 metres from any river, stream, dam or watercourse.

32.   Refunds -Please refer to your receipt for our refund & cancellation policy.

33.   Sewage Dump -A sewage dump point for motor homes is located adjacent to the Triple Box Amenities

34.   Sites -No site number is guaranteed. Check in time is after 2.00pm and check out time is 10.00am (unless a late stay is available and paid for). Any late stays will incur a fee.

·         Sites and accommodation are to be kept neat and tidy, intentional or negligent damage caused to site or any other part of the park not permitted

·         Only one caravan & annexe or one tent or one motor home permitted on a site.  

·         Guy ropes must not be tied to trees or any park furniture. 

·         Trade or business dealings must not be carried out in the park. 

·         On departure, sites and accommodation are to be left in as nearly as possible the same condition as upon arrival. 

·         Cutting of trees or shrubs will not be allowed unless authorised by Management. 

·         All belongings & vehicles must fit on the site and not encroach on any roads or other sites.

35.   Skateboards and Roller blades -Are not permitted in the park at any time

36.   Smoking -Smoking is not permitted in and around all park buildings including but not limited to Accommodation, BBQ enclosures, Amenity Buildings, Playground and Kiosk

37.   Speed Limit -Park speed limit is 15kph (except the main access road which is 30kph) this applies to all vehicles, motor bikes, bikes and scooters

38.   Unlawful Drugs -Guests must not use, or be under the influence of, any unlawful drugs or substances

39.   Vandalism -Occupants must not commit any acts of Vandalism

40.   Vehicles -Park roads are considered public roads and all state road rules apply.

Vehicles must only be used to obtain access to your site.  No 'joy riding' allowed.

Guests must not use any vehicle in any way that is dangerous to other occupants and persons lawfully on the park, or in a manner that cause damage to their property.  

Guests must not allow any vehicles owned by or in the custody or control of the guest (including any visitors) to be driven or used in the park

·            At a speed in excess of posted signage.

·         Where the driver or passenger(s) is not wholly within the vehicle.

·         Guests are not permitted to repair or service any vehicle, except in an area designated by the park management.

·         Guests may only keep or use registered and roadworthy vehicles on the park.

·         Guests must comply immediately when requested by management to remove from the park any vehicle or motorcycle or similar that makes excessive noise

·         Offroad riding/driving is not permitted within the main or backwater park areas, motorbikes and other vehicles must remain on designated tracks or roads. Persons caught taking their vehicle offroad will face a $220.00 fine.

41.   Yearly Van Sites - In addition to the above the following applies to Yearly Van site occupants and their guests and visitors.

·         Occupants must not erect tents or allow other accommodating vehicles or structures on their site.

·         Occupants must maintain their own site, van & annexe. Grass cuttings to be placed at the edge of the road (not in drains).

·         Occupants must keep the lawn and any garden free of all weeds and noxious plants

·         Any installation, alteration, addition, or repair of the occupant's dwelling may only be undertaken by a licensed tradesperson only with written application to Management - Please refer to the 'Occupation Agreement' and ‘Yearly Van Site Development Guidelines’ documents.

·         Occupants may erect clotheslines after management approval and must be removed or folded down when not in use & upon departure.

·         Electrical power leads must be tested and tagged by a licensed person annually.

 

Security -Please ensure all valuables and recreation equipment is securely placed away to avoid theft

 

Park Guests and Visitors must comply with any reasonable request or direction issued by a Park Employee.
